I think I love the ocean because I grew up on the plains of Montana where you could see horizon 360-degrees. When I live in the mountains or the city, I feel fenced in. Living in unpopulated hills, there would be a freedom in that!

I bet you had a storm...from Dolly? Missouri is one of the few states I have NEVER visited. Someone once told me that their theory was that Missouri was the site of the Garden of Eden. What do you think of that? My day was fine. Work is just busy. But, unlike many, I have a job...so why should I complain! Have a good Thursday!

Hey! I am so excited...and you are going to laugh at me! I planted ONE patio tomato in my flower bed and ONE cucumber in my flower bed. It is next to the sidewalk on the south side of the house. We have TALL evergreens and live on the top of the hill, but tucked into the NORTH side. So it is cooler and shadier here. I have ONE little green tomato and AT LEAST A DOZEN tiny, spiney cucumbers! I tried to take a picture for you, but they were all fuzzy.

Mostly sand dollars when tide is out. Most of the shells have "renters."

Hope you are feeling better. The bones of Peter Iredale are just there...slowly fading away. I don't think anyone would climb on it. The Oregon coast is not warm and balmy. You really don't swim in the Pacific up here. Maybe you surf with a wetsuit. I have never been in any deeper than mid-calf. Very cold.

I'm going to be home tomorrow...I'll take a picture or three of my "garden." You'll be laughing for years! Wait. There will be four pictures. I forgot about my husband's strawberry pot.
Have a good evening!
